The Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014 (the VCA) came into force on 1st July 2014. The VCA aims to protect and improve the wellbeing of vulnerable children and strengthen our child protection system.

The VCA requires all state services and their funded providers of children’s services to adopt a Child Protection Policy.
